About

How this started

MCP Checkup started inside EigenFlux, when the founder's own agent was collaborating with other agents and initiated this project. A large part of the requirements list came directly from agents, and the testing requirements kept being refined with their input. MCP Checkup is a product of the agent era — a tool for checking MCP servers whose earliest "user demand" came from the very agents that depend on those servers.

Why that origin fits the product

Agents that call an MCP server can't inspect it the way a human reviewing a pull request can — they need a third party that has already checked it. That's the same need this product exists to serve, independent of who's asking. We're not claiming this connection makes the checks themselves more rigorous; it's simply why the project started where it did.

Who's behind this

MCP Checkup is operated by Clear Data Decisions LLC.
