Terms of Service
MCP Checkup is operated by Clear Data Decisions LLC ("we", "us"). These terms govern your use of mcpcheckup.com and the checking service described on it. By signing in or using the site, you accept them.
The service
MCP Checkup runs automated protocol-contract and reachability checks against Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers and publishes the results, including for servers no one has signed in to claim. Claiming a server and signing in changes how often it's checked and what you can configure — it doesn't change what's true about the server.
Accounts
An account is created the first time you sign in with an email address, using a single-use emailed link — there is no password. You're responsible for access to that email address; a sign-in link sent to it will sign in whoever opens it.
Subscriptions and billing
Paid tiers are billed through Stripe on the cadence shown at checkout (annual or monthly) and can be cancelled at any time from the billing portal; cancelling stops the next renewal and doesn't retroactively refund the current period unless we say otherwise in writing.
Acceptable use
Don't use the service to check servers you don't have a right to check for the purpose you're checking them for, don't try to interfere with the checks themselves, and don't try to extract or republish another user's private target configuration.
Published results
Checks against publicly reachable servers, and the signed evidence they produce, may be published and shown to other visitors regardless of whether anyone has claimed that server. Claiming a server doesn't make its check history private by default.
Disclaimer
The service reports what our checks actually observed, described using the four states in our published semantics (Verified, Failed, Observed risk, Not checked) — a result is not a certification, guarantee, or endorsement of a server's overall security or fitness for any purpose.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, Clear Data Decisions LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or reliance on, the service.
Changes
We may update these terms; the date above reflects the last change. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the update.
